WINTER WINE BOX

£100.00
Limit 2 per order

Four wines brought together to celebrate the darker months of the year.

Magdalen Moonlight: This 2024 amber Pet Nat (ancestral method sparkling wine) was inspired by a singer friend who embodies beauty, romance and the ethereal qualities of moonlight. In her honour, our Orion grape was harvested, disgorged and bottled always on a full moon. Trailing quince and mimosa blossom, the wine comes in at 8.5%, making it a perfect pre-dinner sparkler. By coincidence, Magdalen Moonlight is a recurring name in the winemaker’s family, bringing many threads together.

Three Bright Stars: A 2025 still amber that is full of character, strength and warmth, making it a delicious food wine. The Orion grapes were given time on the skins before being aged in our eau de vie barrel. It offers quince, ripe peach, vanilla and spice and rounded tannins. The hand-printed label depicts the three bright stars of Orion’s belt as the constellation rises in the winter sky. (13% ABV)

Samhain Pet Nat: One of our original trio of Pet Nats, our sparkling red has a loyal following. The 2025 has vibrant English hedgerow fruits such as damson, rosehip and blackberry, with a hint of smoke. This is one for the autumn menu, pairing beautifully with venison, game birds, beetroot, and all red fruit desserts. (10.5% ABV)

Solaris Mistelle: This may well be the first natural dessert wine in England as it uses a spirit, rather than sulphites, to arrest the fermentation leaving some residual sweetness in the wine. We add our own Eau de Vie de Vin to fermenting Solaris as it hovers between juice and wine to capture freshness and acidity along with some residual sweetness. This one is perfect for a cheeseboard, or fruit dessert. (18%)

These four natural wines are all certified biodynamic, fermented using wild yeasts from the grape skins, unfined and unfiltered, and with no additional sulphites or additives.
