A delicious still amber wine from 2025.
The Orion grape shows its sophisticated side after a period of skin contact and ageing in our recently vacated eau de vie barrel. After enjoying a high-ripening year, the grape offers flavours of quince, ripe peach and tangerine zest overlaying vanilla and tropical spice. With a hint of warmth from the barrel, this wine has body, tannin and strength and would pair well with white meats and orchard fruit desserts.
We have named Three Bright Stars for Orion the Hunter, whose ‘diamond studded belt’ is the comforting signifier of the northern winter sky. The individually hand-stamped label indicates the constellation rising over the vineyard.
